President’s Message
Welp, suddenly Summer is over and it’s time for MIDWEST SUPERFEST 2025! I hope everyone has saved their pennies for deals, and signed up for a shift helping out.
Speaking of, we are going to be having the September monthly meeting onsite Thursday night.
Thursday and Friday will be big setup days. Please come out and help. Many hands make light work and it’s a good time. The weather is looking like it will be nice, and this should be a great Superfest with the ARRL district convention, forums, and all kinds of deals. This is the club’s big fund raising event and if you can, camping onsite is a great way to spend some time after all the work with your fellow club members.
By the way, if you have not seen the prizes for the raffle, there’s a box sitting next to me that, well, I really want to open it and play with. Our grand prize is an Icom 7300! if you would like to have this brand new HF radio in your shack, buy a bunch of tickets!!! And if you would like to have next year’s prizes sitting in your house (before Superfest 2026) ask how you can help out YOUR club! And don’t forget that we will be having club elections before you know it!
